As part of the Italian railway holding Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), the rail network operator RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana) is in charge of different kinds of infrastructure including the railway lines, stations and technical facilities throughout Italy. We provide individual railway companies with access to the Italian rail network and are responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of the entire infrastructure.
