From 1st April, train ticket prices on the Innsbruck-Brennero/Brenner and Lienz-San Candido/Innichen routes will increase slightly.
The Austrian transport company VVT, which operates in Tyrol, will adjust the prices according to the annual inflation rate. ÖBB will keep its fares unchanged for the time being. If you are travelling to the Austrian border on a regional train on the Austrian section, you will have to add a small supplement to your travel costs.
VVT-Normalpreis | ÖBB-Vorteilscard/Children
Brennero/Brenner – Innsbruck Central Station | 10.10 euro | 5.40 euro
San candido/Innichen and Versciaco/Vierschach – Sillian | 4.30 euro | 2.10 euro
San Candido/Innichen and Versciaco/Vierschach – Lienz | 13.00 euro | 5.40 euro |
These fares also apply to südtirolmobil single tickets and to Südtirol Pass or Euregio Family Pass holders, regardless of their current fare price category.
In the case of special offers from ÖBB or VVT, different fares may apply. Please check with the various sales channels for the current tariffs of the operators.
Do you often travel to Innsbruck or Lienz with your Südtirol Pass? Then you might be interested in the ÖBB-Vorteilscard. It is a card with various advantages that you can register directly in your online user account in combination with your Südtirol Pass, Südtirol Pass abo+ and 65+ with active payment function or the Euregio Family Pass. You will be charged the reduced fare every time you travel on regional trains on the Austrian section.
