From Sunday 15 December 2024, the Franzensfeste/Fortezza-Bruneck/Brunico section of the Pustertal/val Pusteria railway line will be closed to traffic.
Good to know
A replacement bus service will be provided for the duration of the works:
- The B400 buses will run every half hour during the day on the Brixen/Bressanone-Bruneck/Brunico route: B400 timetable;
- The main stops in the various towns, which do not always correspond to the railway stations, are served;
- It is only possible to change to the B400 bus service from the Brixen/Bressanone station, not from the Franzensfeste/Fortezza station;
- The 401 Brixen/Bressanone-Bruneck/Brunico bus line, which runs every half hour on weekdays (Monday to Friday), is an alternative way to travel the same route: 401 Brixen/Bressanone-Bruneck/Brunico timetable;
- From 15 December, long-distance trains (EC, RJ and RJX) will no longer stop at Franzensfeste/Fortezza.
Tickets
For the duration of the closure, all train tickets are valid on the B400 replacement buses and on the 401 service.
The Südtirol Pass and its versions can be validated both at the departure stations and on the replacement buses.
