Soon to come: seasonal ski buses and shuttle services to popular excursion sites featured in the südtirolmobil online journey planner. Some shuttles serving the Altipiano dello Sciliar/Schlerngebiet plateau are already listed.
In addition to the public-transport network, seasonal services for skiers, excursionists and hikers are available in many locations across South Tyrol. These shuttle services are typically organised by local councils and tourism organisations and well-coordinated with the südtirolmobil timetables. Offering a chance to reach the mountains in an environmentally friendly without the need for a car, they are popular with locals and tourists alike.
In an effort to make the online journey planner in the südtirolmobil app complete with full directions to excursion destinations, our technicians are gradually adding the many shuttle buses to our data systems. The first to be integrated into the timetable search function were the shuttle services in and around Siusi/Seis: From the Weiherbus service to Lake Fiè/Völs or the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm Express all the way to the shuttle buses serving Saltria, San Valentino/St. Valentin, Compatsch and many more popular destinations, the südtirolmobil data systems now include 9 new additional lines.
Please note: Because most of these seasonal shuttle services are not part of the südtirolmobil network, different fares – which are not indicated in the südtirolmobil online journey planner – usually apply.
