Timetables for 2023: we’d love to hear from you!

Send us your suggestions about our bus and train timetables

Got an idea or suggestion on how to fine-tune our bus and train departure times in 2023? Let us know! You have time until 6 June.

We’re currently working on the bus timetables that will become effective in December. Click here for a quick preview. For suggestions on rail timetables, we ask passengers to refer to the current timetables, because amendments to train timetables typically require considerable time, which is why they can only be implemented in the medium term.

To polish our timetable according to your needs, we once again look forward to your feedback on the routes and lines that you use. Simply e-mail us by 6 June 2022 at: 2023@suedtirolmobil.info

Timetables under close scrutiny

Every year, we ask for passenger feedback – in a bid to give you the opportunity to help shape the timetables of some 230 bus routes and train lines throughout South Tyrol, to check how user-friendly the current departure times and connections are and to identify any inconsistencies or potential for improvement. We then carefully study the input received and integrate all viable requests into our timetable planning as far as possible.

Plenty of feedback received

The initiative to have citizens directly participate in timetable planning procedures (procedimento di definizione orario/Fahrplanverfahren in official terms) is common throughout Europe. In South Tyrol, the provincial government decided to introduce it a few years ago – with considerable success: In the past year alone, the South Tyrol Department of Passenger Transport received over 700 e-mails containing suggestions regarding different bus routes and rail lines, many of which have since been integrated into the system or are earmarked for future incorporation.

And with the reorganisation of regional bus services across South Tyrol now complete, the next aim is to fully implement the all-new Provincial Mobility Plan, which proposes the expansion of services in many places during the evening and at weekends, among other things.
