südtirolmobil Bikeboxes

Looking for a way to park your bike safely and securely at the station before taking the bus or train? No problem at all – we’ve got the perfect solution!

The train stations in Bressanone/Brixen and Brunico/Bruneck are equipped with südtirolmobil Bikeboxes that come in the shape of individual boxes or depots where you can park your bike safely, at a fair price and completely sheltered from all kinds of weather.

What are Bikeboxes?

südtirolmobil Bikeboxes are locked, covered storage spaces for bicycles. Only authorised users who have booked a space have access to them. Bikeboxes are serviced and maintained regularly, and there is a service number that can be called for assistance in urgent cases.

What do I need in order to use one?

In order to book a Bikebox, you need the südtirolmobil app on your smartphone and one of the following subscription tickets on a post-paid contract using SEPA Direct Debit:

• a Südtirol Pass or Euregio Family Pass;
• a Südtirol Pass abo+ or Südtirol Pass 65+, if you’ve activated the function to pay for additional services.

How does it work?

In the südtirolmobil app on your smartphone, click on Tickets (i.e. the purple icon in the top right-hand corner) and then on Subscription.

To access your Bikebox, click on Open Bikebox in the südtirolmobil app and scan the QR code that can be found on the door of your Bikebox or on the display at the entrance to the bike depot. Then park your bicycle and that’s it!

How much does it cost?

Storing a bike in a depot:

• 1 day: 1 EUR
• 1 month: 5 EUR
• 1 year: 30 EUR

Storing a bike in an individual Bikebox:

• 1 day: 2 EUR
• 1 month: 10 EUR
• 1 year: 60 EUR
